PURPOSE: An armrest for a driver for a vehicle is provided to improve the convenience of an armrest by adjusting a rotation and a movement to all directions according to a body type of a driver. CONSTITUTION: A base(2) is fixed, moving backward and forward along a bottom guide rail(1). A middle body(4), which has the base built-in, is moved upward and downward and is elastically supported by springs(3). An upper armrest(6) is rotated and fixed on a hinge shaft(5). A locking lever(8), which has a hitching hook(7a), is connected with an opposite hitching hook(7b) through a connecting cable(9), and locks or breaks away the hitching hooks on a hitching groove part(10) of the bottom guide rail. A spring(12) is hitched on a height control groove part(11) formed on both sides of the base and supports elastically a couple of hitching sill parts for height control(13a, 13b) connected by a connecting cable(14). A lock part for rotation(16) is equipped on a hinge shaft(5) of the upper armrest and connected or broken away by a push button(15).
