PURPOSE: A stopper for a side impact of vehicle seats is provided to effectively prevent passenger damage resulting from a side impact, by absorbing the shock of a side impact through stopper members. CONSTITUTION: A stopper member(11) is equipped parallel in a seat bag(2a) and projected to the outside of the seat bag to be turned. A turning part turns the stopper member for one side of the stopper member to be projected to the outside of the seat bag. An operating part operates the turning part when a vehicle has a side impact. The turning part consists of a driven gear(12), which is united with the stopper member as one body, and a gear device, which has a driving gear(13) joined to the driven gear. The operating part consists of a hydraulic damper(14), whose one side rod(14a) is in an opposite side of a body(1) as a regular interval and the other side rod(14b) is connected with the driving gear through a cable(15).
