PURPOSE: A display unit is provided which attains clear display of a picture printed on a film including change of the picture and stereoscopic moving pictures by periodically displacing a picture carrying film which is displaceable and is light-weight to cross a lens of a panel. CONSTITUTION: A display unit for displaying two or more consecutively changing images, the unit including a curved lenticular panel having front and rear faces; a displaceable, lightweight, image-carrying film spread out along the rear face; an electric drive coupled to the film for periodically displacing the film across the lenses of the panel, and guide means facilitating the smooth reciprocating movement of the film. the lens-shaped panel(l) contains a cylindrical lens(2) of a front side thereof and a rib(4) of a rear side thereof. The panel(1) is a little arch-shaped in a direction crossing respective axial lines of the lens(2) at right angles. A light-weight film(6) is disposed in a state where it is spread at a protruding shaped rear side of the panel(1) and further is joined by four springs, for example. Tabs(16) having slots(18) are provided at each of upper and lower rulers(12) and a pin(20) is fixed to the panel(1) by penetrating the slot. Combination of the slot(18) and the pin(20) forms a guide means to the film(6) and secures accurate migration along the panel(1). Further proper conformity between the film(6) and the lens(2) under changing temperature is secured. |
