The fuel injection nozzle of a diesel engine has a truncated cone shaped head (2) at the end of a steel tube (1-1). The head presents a conical seating surface (2-1a) and has an output tube (3a-1) which fits inside the nozzle passage (1-3) and leaves an external collar flange at the tip of the nozzle. The output tube may be fixed by pressing, screwing brazing or welding.
