PURPOSE: To obtain a magnesium hydroxide slurry producible at a low cost without especially requiring the addition, etc., of a dispersing agent and having a viscosity within the range so as not to cause practical trouble and further a high solid content. CONSTITUTION: This magnesium hydroxide slurry comprises an aggregate of magnesium hydroxide particles having an average particle diameter within the range of 1-5 μm, a specific surface area within the range of 10-60 m2/g and a specific surface area shape factor within the range of 60-180 and dispersed so as to provide 35-60 wt.% expressed in terms of solid content. |
