PURPOSE: A magnetometer of a magneto-optical microscope is provided to simultaneously carry out the functions of a magneto-optical microscope and a magneto-optical magnetometer, thereby measuring a Hysteresis loop and an activation magnetization moment in an ultra fine local area. CONSTITUTION: A magnetometer of a magneto-optical microscope includes an electromagnet unit(130) applying a magnetic field to a magnetic material(117'), a polarized optical microscope(110) for outputting a polarized optical image signal for a magnetized state of a surface of the magnetic material, a CCD camera unit(120) for real-time photographing the image signal, a data conversion element(140) for converting a change of the image signal photographed by the CCD camera unit to a Hysteresis Loop and an activation magnetization moment, an output element(150) for outputting the converted result, and a magnetic field controller(160) for outputting a control signal to the electromagnet unit to remotely control a strength of the magnetic field applied to the magnetic material.
