PNEUMATIC TIRE WITH IMPROVED DURABILITY OF BEAD

PURPOSE: A pneumatic tire improves the form of a bead filler to restrain crack and separation occurring on the upper end of the bead filler and extend the endurance period of a bead part. CONSTITUTION: The sectional form of a bead filler(3) is of right-angled triangle. A bending point(33) is formed on the middle part of a slope(30) of the bead filler(3) which is placed on the outer side of a forming drum on the turn-up operation of a carcass so that the slope(30) comprises two lines(31, 32). The height(h) between the upper surface of a bead core(4) and the bending point(33) is 5-15mm. The thickness(D) of the bead filler(3) on the bending point(33) is 1/2-3/5 of the width(W) of the bead core(4)
