PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing pulleys is provided to produce pulleys of a high quality and a strong durability in large quantities within a short time without error and to enlarge life of the pulleys and related components. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing the pulleys includes the steps of cutting a round bar in a prescribed size, forming a shaft insertion hole(1) at the center for forming a bearing fixing body(2), forming curved concave part(3) at the center of a steel plate cut into a round form with a bite, forming a bearing fixing body insertion hole(4), heating a pulley body(5) in a heating furnace at the temperature of 800°C and fixing on a rotating plate of a molding machine, gradually opening the curved concave part using roller dies of 30°, 33°, 35° and 37.5°in order, inserting the bearing fixing body into the bearing fixing body insertion hole and welding the circumference of both bonded surfaces.
