AGENT FOR PROMOTING DISCHARGING OF RESIDUAL MATERIALS IN TUNDISH REUSED DURING HOT ROLLING AND METHOD FOR DISCHARGING THE RESIDUAL MATERIALS USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: An agent for promoting discharging of residual materials in a tundish reused during hot rolling and a method for discharging the residual materials using the same are provided to easily discharge residual materials inside the tundish by increasing a temperature of residual molten metal and reducing the viscosity of molten steel and slag. CONSTITUTION: The agent for promoting discharging of residual materials in a tundish reused during hot rolling (13) comprises 50 to 70 wt.% of ferro silicon, 10 to 20 wt.% of aluminum and 20 to 30 wt.% of iron oxides, wherein the iron oxide is hematite (Fe2O3). In a method for continuous casting molten steel by attaching an immersion nozzle to the tundish after separating an immersion nozzle (12) from a tundish after casting, and discharging the residual molten steel of the tundish, the method for discharging the residual materials in a tundish comprises the step of injecting a 5 to 8 kg of briquette comprising 50 to 70 wt.% of ferro silicon, 10 to 20 wt.% of aluminum and 20 to 30 wt.% of iron oxides per one tone of the residual molten steel before discharging the residual molten steel.
