PURPOSE: An automatic safety bar device of a press is provided to prevent accidents by automatically and vertically positioning a safe support bar of a prescribed length using a pneumatic cylinder located between an upper mold, a slide and a lower mold and to increase productivity by reducing a process period of time. CONSTITUTION: An automatic safety bar device of the press includes a pneumatic control part(30) for controlling pneumatic pressure using a solenoid valve(31), a pneumatic cylinder(37) having a cylinder rod(38) moving back and forth by pneumatic pressure, a cylindrical safe support bar(20) of a prescribed length, a first bracket(41) formed integrally with a support bar connecting member coupled with an outer diameter of the safe support bar, and a second bracket(43) formed integrally with a side of the pneumatic cylinder rod and coupled with the first bracket with a pin.
