PURPOSE: Provided is an electronic cane for visually handicapped person to help them understand circumstances more correctly due to an electronic sensor installed thereon. CONSTITUTION: The electronic cane for visually handicapped persons is characterized by i): a sensor for guide which is installed on the end of the cane and senses obstacles; ii) a controller which recognizes circumstances according to the signal sent by the sensor and controls output information; and iii) an output unit which outputs information according to signal and the controller. And the cane also includes a power switch on the handle, power, a button for listening to guide comments, and an infrared sender for sending out infrared light.
