PURPOSE: A method of searching multi-media objects using color histogram is provided to search objects effectively using information about existence of a particular color, difference of distribution of a single color and distance of transformed histogram. CONSTITUTION: In the method of searching multi-media objects using color histogram, in step (701), the system receives input data. In step (702), a binary histogram is calculated from the input data using the existing histogram. In step (703), a high filter histogram is calculated. In step (704), the binary histogram goes through an XOR logic gate. In step (705), one is added to the result of step (704). In step (706), the distance between the two histograms is calculated using the high filter histogram. In step (707), the distance between the two histograms is calculated using the existing histogram. In step (708), the final result is calculated combining the three distances calculated. In step (709), objects are arranged corresponding to the final result.
