PURPOSE: An oil pressure controlling system for an automatic transmission simplifies the structure thereof, thereby preventing the wrong operation thereof and improves the controlling performance thereof. CONSTITUTION: An oil pressure distributing system has two pressure controlling valves(35,49), two duty controlling valves(S3,S4), two on/off controlling valves(S5,S6) and two shift controlling valves(57,59). The structure of an oil pressure controlling system is simplified and varied to small size by the oil pressure distributing system. Further, the speed change responding performance is improved and the characteristic of controlling pressure according to temperature is constantly maintained by the reduction of oil leakage elements. Therefore, the controlling performance of the valves are improved, thereby improving shift quality.
