PNEUMATIC TIRE WITH IMPROVED STEERING STABILITY

摘要

PURPOSE: A pneumatic tire increases rigidity of a side wall thereof to improve steering stability without increasing weight thereof. CONSTITUTION: Cords installed inside a carcass(1) are divided into cords(10) placed in a crown part(2) and cords(11) placed in a side wall part(3). The cords(10) placed in the crown part(2) are formed with fibrous cords to improve ride comfort and the cords(11) placed in the side wall part(3) are formed with steel or aramid cords with better rigidity to improve steering stability. The density of the cords(20) installed in the crown part(2) is greater than the density of the cords installed in the side wall part(3) so that both cords(20, 21) have same density after inflation.
