PURPOSE: A wiper system for rain sensor of vehicle is provided to properly control wiper action-time-cycle without additional switch manipulation by a driver even in case of night rain travel. CONSTITUTION: In a state of no electrical signal fed to a control unit(30) from a light sensor unit(25) during night travel, the head lamp light of other vehicles traveling over an opposite lane is sensed. The control unit selects an appropriate action terminal on the basis of a speed selection switch signal among secondary wiper-drive-speed-control lines as fast as wiper action-time-cycle. According to secondary wiper drive speed control lines, in case of less rain amount, the action time cycle of a wiper is lengthened while in case of the large quantity of rain, the cycle is shortened to control a wiper drive unit(40). Therefore, without additional switch manipulation, the wiper action becomes fast to prevent automatically the blurring of the front view by the headlamp light of other vehicles.
