PURPOSE: A plasma liquid crystal display(LCD) having barrier electrodes and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve efficiency using an LCD device having wall electrodes. CONSTITUTION: In the plasma liquid crystal display(LCD) having barrier electrodes, phosphor(56) is coated on parts of the inside of the barrier (38), increasing the size of phosphor-coated part. First and second sustain electrodes(52,54) increase sustain efficiency. The first sustain electrode(52) is formed on the upper part of the upper board(50). The second sustain electrode(54) is formed on the inside of the barrier (38). Thus, the second sustain electrode(54) is used as a barrier electrode. Here, a series of discharging improves discharging efficiency. |
