PURPOSE: A secondary battery is provided which has an improved structure for combining anode and cathode tap groups with an anode and a cathode terminals. CONSTITUTION: The secondary battery comprises: (i) a battery cell(24) which is prepared by laminating many anode plates, cathode plates and separators; (ii) a plural anode taps(25) and cathode taps(26) which are respectively drawn out from the anode plates(21) and the cathode plates(22) and are collected to each pole plate; (iii) an anode and a cathode terminals(27, 28) each of which has a flat plate part(27a, 28a) and a skew part(27b, 28b) having a space part in the opposite direction of the end part of the anode and cathode tap group to receive the anode and cathode tap; and (iv) a case which comprises an upper part case(29) and a lower part case(200) having a space part(210) for receiving the battery cell and has an upper and lower part sealing part(29a, 200a) to close the inside from the outside along the border of the space part.
