MANUFACTURE OF LOW FUEL-PERMEABLE HOSE

PURPOSE: To provide a method for manufacturing a low-priced and low fuel- permeable hose advantageously with the use of a blended material of NBR with a high AN content and PVC. CONSTITUTION: When a small dia. low fuel-permeable hose 5 made of a blended material of NBR with an AN content of 43-50 wt.% and PVC, is manufactured, a fine core material is inserted through an extruded unvulcanized hose blank or is fitted into a groove of the blank. Then the blank is vulcanized. Alternatively the blank is vulcanized after cast-molding, all depending upon the shape, size, layer structure or the like of the hose.
