POLYETHYLENE RESIN COMPOSITION FOR PLASTIC BOTTLE CLOSURE AND MOLDED PRODUCTS PREPARED THEREFROM

PURPOSE: A high density polyethylene resin composition obtained by melt blending polyethylene grafted by a main chain of alkyl silicon polyethylene with high density polyethylene is provided, which shows suitable opening torque by the reduction of a friction coefficient and generates no change of taste of contents. CONSTITUTION: The resin composition is characterized in that it contains 100 parts by weight of high density polyethylene, 5 to 20 parts by weight of polyethylene grafted by an alkyl silicon oxide compound and additionally 0.01 to 0.5 parts by weight of an acid-proof agent, and 0.01 to 0.5 parts by weight of an antioxidant. The high density polyethylene has a melt index of 0.1 to 10g/10min and a density of 0.950g/cm¬2.
