PURPOSE: An apparatus for storing and searching audio/video data including additional information is provided to reduce the volume of a storage medium used for storing audio/video data wanted by a user, and improve the search speed by using additional information included a specific area. CONSTITUTION: A packet analyzing part(31) receives the input of packet for outputting audio and/or video data and the corresponding additional information based on audio and/or video packet identifier. An audio/video analyzing part(32) analyzes audio and/or video packet by using packet identifier for outputting audio and/or video packet. An audio/video generating part(34) inserts additional information of the packet analyzing part(31) into a specific area of the audio and/or video packet from the audio/video analyzing part(32). A control part(35) inserts additional information into the audio and/or video packet for storing the additional information in a storage medium(36).
