PURPOSE: A near field optical recording reproduction apparatus is provided to improve a data recording density greatly by supplying new SIL structure to have coated film having an optical non-linearity. CONSTITUTION: A SIL(2) which an optical non-linearity layer is coated at a surface facing to a recording surface is equipped with. The optical non-linearity layer passes a light as transparency is increased according to temperature increases, and do not pass a light as transparency is decreased according to temperature decreases. The optical non-linearity layer(4) is coated at the lower side of SIL(2). A protection layer(3) is formed at the upper and lower side of the optical non-linearity layer(4) and prevents a scattering and a diffused reflection of beam to be made an incidence. An optical aperture(7) is formed at center of the optical non-linearity layer(4) as temperature is increased by beam if beam to have passed an objective lens is made an incidence to SIL(2). The beam to have passed the aperture(7) is made an incidence at a recording film(5) facing to the lower side of SIL(2).
