The saddle mounting for an all terrain bicycle has the saddle (1) tube (4) mounted on the top plate (6) of a parallelogram linkage (5) which allows longitudinal adjustment of the saddle with respect to the frame of the bicycle (2). The saddle is adjusted for height by moving the saddle tube. A stop (16) limits movement of the parallelogram linkage by abutting against one of the links.
