PURPOSE: A remote controller attachment structure for indoor unit of room air conditioner is provided to simplify the external structure of the indoor unit and reduce manufacturing cost, by eliminating the operation panel and arranging the remote controller to be attachable/detachable to/from the indoor unit. CONSTITUTION: A remote controller attachment structure comprises a rectangular attachment section(30) for attaching a remote controller(20) to an indoor unit(10); a remote controller cover(29) for protecting the remote controller; and a remote controller cover mount section(32) for mounting the remote controller cover. The remote controller cover slides along the sliding groove formed at inner surfaces of the rectangular attachment section and the remote controller cover mount section, so as to open/shut the rectangular attachment section. The rectangular attachment section has a plurality of remote controller fixing grooves(31), and a protrusion protruded from the remote controller is fixed into remote controller fixing grooves, to thereby allow the remote controller to be attached/detached from the indoor unit. |
