CHANNEL COMBINER HAVING SWITCHING FUNCTION

PURPOSE: A channel combiner having a switching function is provided to separate abnormal channels from a system to protect the system by switching respective channels, and adjusting the number of channels combined in accordance with channel requirements. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of channel filters(22) make signals of desired band pass. A plurality of isolators(21) are irreversible symmetrical circuits which make signals pass in only one direction to protect a transmission part. A junction(24) combines a plurality of channels to transmit signals with one antenna. RF cables(23) of predetermined length connect the channel filters(22) to the junction(24). At least one switches(27,28) and a controller(26) for the switches(27,28) are mounted between the plurality of channel filters(22) and the junction(24) for switching respective channels.
