PURPOSE: A brush holder for a vacuum cleaner is provided to simplify a manufacturing process and to improve the efficiency of a vacuum cleaner, by possessing several brush holders of same formations and sizes. CONSTITUTION: Several holders(105) have the first and the second screw grooves(110, 111) on the position of the outer circumference face. A shaft(120) penetrates the holders and is connected. The first and the second holder fixing parts(140, 141) are inserted into each end of the shaft and fix the holders. The first and the second driven parts(130, 131) are equipped on the first and the second holder fixing parts respectively and rotate the brush holder(100) to the same direction with the operating direction of a cleaner. The first and the second brushes of band shape(150, 151) are inserted into the first and the second screw grooves respectively.
