PURPOSE: A process of preparing an additive for beverage by mixing rice powder and ginseng powder, making a pill and dipping in a solution of green tea and honey is provided, whereby the additive can add to a traditional beverage such as a sweet drink made from fermented rice as well as conventional beverages such as coffee. CONSTITUTION: The additive(10) for beverage is prepared by a process consisting of: obtaining rice powder by sufficiently dipping in water and pulverizing; mixing the rice powder and ginseng powder in a ratio of 4:1 and kneading; adding various kinds of edible pigments; and then heating and making a pill, dipping the pill in a mixed solution of green tea water and honey.
