PURPOSE: A rotary linear motor is provided to employ a unit capable of corresponding to a vibration due to a reciprocal linear motion of a shaft. CONSTITUTION: A shaft(301) exhibits a rotary motion and a linear motion. A stator core(302) for rotary motion is arranged on a predetermined portion in the vicinity of the shaft(301) and generates a rotary motion force for rotary motion of the shaft(301). A stator core(303) for linear motion is arranged on a predetermined portion in the vicinity of the shaft(301) and generates a linear motion force for linear motion of the shaft(301). An elastic unit is arranged on a predetermined portion in the vicinity of the shaft(301) and applies an elastic force of a predetermined strength to the linear motion force according to the reciprocal linear motion of the shaft. An external housing(305) fixes and protects the components. Two compressing springs are used as the elastic unit. The stator core(302) for rotary motion and the stator core(303) of the linear motion are installed on corresponding portions of the shaft, respectively.
