摘要

PURPOSE: Provided is a highly resistant carbon black having a high light insulation rate and a low surface reflectivity and capable of providing a thin film black matrix used for a color filter. CONSTITUTION: The carbon black is coated with a multifunctional epoxy resin by adding a resin-contained solution to a carbon black dispersion solution. And the carbon black has a volume specific resistance of 100 ohm.cm or higher and the resin coverage ranges 5-40wt% based on the total of the carbon black and the resin. Also, the resin-coated carbon black has a pH of 5 or higher.
