PURPOSE: A process of preparing a composite filament containing a core component, a sheath component and a functional component is provided, which reduces an additional amount of a functional component. And the composite filament has excellent functionality(deodorizing properties, antimicrobial properties), spinnability, drawability and physical properties(strength, dimensional stability) and economical efficiency and can be used for filters of air conditioners and air purifiers. CONSTITUTION: This core-sheath type composite filament comprises a core component(X) and a sheath component(Y), wherein the core component consists of polyolefin-based first resin(H) and the sheath component consists of a mixture of at least one functional component(A) selected from catechins, saponins, tea leaves powder, tea leaves extract and tannin(acid) and a ceramic component(C). The melting point of the first resin(H) is higher than that of the second resin(L) and the weight ratio between the core component(X) and the sheath component(Y) is 30:70 to 80:20. A fabric or nonwoven thermally bondable article is obtained from the composite filament. |
