ELECTRIFYING ROLLER OF DEVELOPING UNIT OF IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF AND JIG FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PURPOSE: An electrifying roller of a developing unit of an image forming apparatus and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to maintain a lower volumetric resistance about 107ohm.cm-108ohm.cm and minimize an electrifying voltage required for electrifying a surface of a photosensitive drum by the electrifying roller, thereby reducing the generation of ozone. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of an electrifying roller of a developing unit of an image forming apparatus includes the steps of compressing and coating a foam rubber material on an outer peripheral surface of a metal rod(S1), stacking the metal rod compression-coated with the foam rubber material in a receiving space of a main body in the shape of pipe in a jig for carrying out a primary heating of the foam rubber material(S2,S3), withdrawing the heated metal rod out of the receiving space of the main body for carrying out secondary heating with respect to the foam rubber material(S4), and cutting the metal rod compression-coated with the twice heated foam rubber material by a predetermined width(S5).
