PURPOSE: An instrument panel input device is provided to reduce labor by adjusting properly the angle of a bar when placing an instrument panel on a vehicle body or taking out and to prevent the damage of the instrument panel due to hitting between the instrument panel and the vehicle body. CONSTITUTION: A shaft diameter portion(4a) of a smaller diameter is defined on the end side and having a housing(8) for retaining more than one bearing(3,3a) on the shaft diameter portion. On the side of the housing(8), a bar(1) is disposed by bolts. Between the bar and the shaft diameter portion, a bush(6) is provided. When the bar rotates, the friction between the two members is decreased. A collar(7) is positioned between the housing(8) and the shaft diameter portion. Furthermore, an angle adjusting bar(2) for sustaining the other side face part of an instrument panel(100) is connected with the bar through a handle while being extended in parallel with the bar for supporting the other side face part. Moreover, on the rotation of the bar, the bar is limited with rotational motion by an angle adjustment stopper(5). During the rotation of the bar to a desired position, rotation is limited for preventing accidents by the excessive rotation of the bar.
