STATE APPARATUS FOR USE IN CALL PROCESSING SYSTEM AND ITS OPERATING METHOD

PURPOSE: A state apparatus for use in a call processing system and its operating method are provided to render a state apparatus of a call control processor to be effectively operated without a delay related to a scheduling algorithm of an operating system queue by sharing an event with a target state apparatus by directly positioning an event in an internal queue of the target state apparatus by each state apparatus. CONSTITUTION: A state apparatus(310) is operated in response to messages received from an operation system queue(330) under the control of an operation system program. The state apparatus(310) transmits the message to a different tasks of a call control processor by using the operation system queue(330) and communicates with other elements of a BS and a radio network outside the call control processor. The state apparatus(310) searches a lead-in call from the operation system queue(330) in response to arrival of the lead-in message or as a part of a scheduled procedure. A task identifies the operation system queue(330) until an arbitrary message for triggering execution of the task is received(312). The state apparatus(310) interprets the received message as an event. The interpreted event is positioned in an internal queue(324) of the state apparatus(310) for the following execution by the stator apparatus(310)(314). By executing the interpreted event, the stator apparatus(330) is positioned in the internal queue(324) or generates a new event to be positioned in the internal queue of a different state apparatus of the call control processor(325). The state apparatus(310) executes the event of the internal queue(324) until the internal queue(324) is empty(316). Each executed event generates different events and positions them in the internal queue(324). Consequently, the internal queue(324) is empty, and the task returns to a standby state for waiting a new message to be reached the operation system queue(330).
