PURPOSE: A gearshift operation device prevents vibration due to the operation of a transmission and a gearshift operation device from being transmitted to a gearshift lever to improve gearshift operation feeling. CONSTITUTION: A gearshift operation device includes an adjusting lever(8), a cable and a buffering device. The adjusting lever(8) is connected to one side of a shift fork assembly built in a transmission to engage gear of synchronizing device to execute gearshift. The cable transmits gearshift operation of a gearshift lever to the shift fork assembly. The buffering device is installed between the adjusting lever(8) and the cable and comprises a plate(16) and an elastic member(26) to prevent vibration and impact generated in the transmission from being transmitted to the gearshift lever. The plate(16) is partially cut. The elastic member(26) is installed between the plate(16) and the adjusting lever(8).
