PURPOSE: A device and method for transferring a sound is provided to transfer the sound from a sounder together with a controlled external sound to the user. CONSTITUTION: A device for transferring a sound comprises an external sound receiving part, a sound controlling part and a mixing and outputting part. The external sound receiving part receives the external sound and transforms the external sound to the external sound signal. The sound controlling part outputs the higher sound signal than the designated reference value of the sound signal from the sounder and the external sound signal. The mixing and outputting part mixes the sound signal from the sounder and the sound signal from the sound controlling part and outputs them. A method for transferring the sound comprises an (a) step for receiving the sound signal from the sounder and the external sound signal around the user, a (b) step for extracting the higher sound signal than the designated reference value of the sound signal from the sounder and the external sound signal and a (c) step for mixing and outputting the sound signal from the sounder and the extracted sound signal from the (b) step.
