PURPOSE: A pedestrian block having a surface abraded layer, is provided which has excellent corrosion-resistance and durability, shows similar external appearance and surface state to that of natural stone and is cheaper than the natural stone. And a method for preparing the same is also provided. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises steps of: (i) preparing a main layer from general cement mortar materials; (ii) forming a surface layer(2) on the main layer by laminating a mortar layer(23) prepared by mixing macadam(22) materials such as granite, limestone, marble and the like and then curing; and (iii) abrading the surface layer(2) to be a smooth surface. The pedestrian block(1) comprises: (i) a main layer(3); and (ii) a surface layer(2), wherein the surface part of the surface layer is abraded to be a smooth surface.
