PURPOSE: A function selection apparatus using touch pad is provided to increase driver's safety by minimizing change of a field of vision and setting an appropriate function when driver set up an electronic function. CONSTITUTION: An audio/electronic function part(100) executes an audio function and electronic function, and provides a sound to driver, and executes a control of vehicle status. A function selection part(300) is connected electrically with the audio/electronic function part(100), and is installed in a range within driver's reach, and outputs a signal which selects an appropriate function of the audio/electronic function part(100) according to driver's touch motion. A display part(200) is installed within a driver's front watching angle of a field of vision, and displays an appropriate function of the audio/electronic function part(100) which is selected according to driver's touch motion.
