PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for manufacturing embedded material of an automobile are provided to reduce time required for process without additional equipment or raw materials by molding, trimming, and covering a pad and a skin in one station. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for manufacturing embedded material of an automobile includes a punch including a punch base(11), a punch core(13) for compression molding vertically operable, a skin cutting part(14) attached to the core and enabling to cut downward, and a pad cutting part(17) supported at the lower pat of the punch base and guided by a guide(29); and a die including a die base(21), a die core(23) positioned at the lower part of the punch core and formed corresponding to the shape of the punch core, and a pad cutting part(23A) corresponding to the pad cutting part of the punch, wherein a pad(200) is secured at the upper part of the die core, a skin(100) is positioned at the upper part of the pad, between the punch and die cores, and the skin cutting part, so that the skin is molded and covered between the punch and die core according to the descendence of the punch, the pad is trimmed between the punch pad cutting part and the die pad cutting part, and the skin is cut by skin cutting part by selectively descending the punch core.
