PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device having a wide viewing angle is to prevent a light from being streamed out by forming a black matrix with a low reflective layer or an organic layer. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of gate lines(20,21,23) is formed on the first substrate(10) in a row direction. A plurality of data lines(60,61,62,64) formed in a column direction is intersected with the gate lines to thereby form a plurality of pixel areas. A plurality of interconnections(25) is formed between the gate lines. A plurality of charge storage electrodes(26) is connected to the interconnections. A pixel electrode(80) is formed on the pixel area. The second substrate(11) is faced with the first substrate. A black matrix is formed on the second substrate and has an opening(91) corresponding to the pixel area. A color filter(R,G) is formed on the opening. A common electrode is formed on the color filter and has an opening pattern(111). The black matrix is formed with a low reflective layer. |
