BOTTOM LAYER COMPOSITION FOR COATING FLUORIDE RESIN WITH GOOD CORROSION RESISTANCE

PURPOSE: A bottom layer composition for coating a fluoride resin with good corrosion resistance is provided, to improve the corrosion resistance, the sticking to the metal, and the adhesion to top layer enamel. CONSTITUTION: The composition comprises a fluoride resin which comprises poly(tetrafluoroethylene) and copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene; an adhesion promoting agent which comprises poly(phenylene sulfide) as an essential component, and one or two compounds selected from polyimide, poly(bismaleimide), polyamideimide and aromatic polyimide; and other additives. The ratio of the fluoride resin to the adhesion promoting agent is 4;1 to 1:4 by weight; the ratio of copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene to poly(tetrafluoroethylene) is 10:90 to 80:20; and the ratio of one or two compounds selected from polyimide, poly(bismaleimide), polyamideimide and aromatic polyimide to the poly(phenylene sulfide) is 3:1 to 1:10 by weight.
