APPARATUS FOR CRYSTALLIZING NECK PART OF PREFORM

PURPOSE: An apparatus is provided for achieving the crystallization of the neck part of a larger quantity of a preform to enhance productivity. CONSTITUTION: A neck part crystallizing apparatus has a feed passage(20) for feeding two rows of preforms(10) in parallel. First and second heating parts(60a, 60b) for heating the neck parts of two rows of the preforms(10) to crystallizing temperature, a cooling part(64) for cooling the heated neck parts of two rows of the preforms(10) and a taking-out part(66) for taking out two rows of the preforms(10) after cooling are provided on the way of the feed passage(20). Two rows of feed members(30) for feeding the preforms(10) in a state receiving the body parts of the preforms(10) so as to expose the neck parts of them are provided to the feed passage(20). Two rows of cooling cores(96) inserted in the neck parts of the heated preforms(10) to cool the neck parts while shaping the inner surfaces thereof and two rows of releasing cylindrical members(98b) coming into contact with the end surfaces of the opening ends of the neck parts when the cooling cores are pulled out of the neck parts to release the inner surfaces of the neck parts and the cooling cores are provided at the cooling part(64).
