PURPOSE: An inline type color television receiver is provided to obtain a large caliber electron gun having a low astigmatism and a low nonuniformity of a focus and convergence characteristics, and thus to reduce aberration more. CONSTITUTION: A cathode(1) is heated by a heater(1') and generates an electron beam. The electron beam goes toward a fluorescent plane through a control electrode(2), an acceleration electrode(3), a focus electrode(4), a middle electrode(9), an anode(6) and a shield cap(8). A main electrode is formed by the focus electrode and the middle electrode and the anode electrode. A focus electrode is applied to the focus electrode, and an anode electrode is applied to the anode electrode, and a middle voltage between the focus voltage and the anode voltage is applied to the middle electrode. A plate form internal electrode(5) is installed in an inner wall of the focus electrode.
