PURPOSE: A radial tire increases rigidity of a side wall part thereof to extend endurance period thereof and reduce manufacturing process and cost. CONSTITUTION: One end of a rim cushion(2) of strong rigidity is extended to cover the inner side of a side wall part(2). The extended part(20) is extended up to the end(30) of a tread(3). The outer side wall part(2) covered by the rim cushion(2) improves the steering stability. The inner side wall part(2) which is not covered by the rim cushion(2) improves ride comfort. The thickness of a bead filler(5) is reduced as the rim cushion(2) covers the bottom of the side wall part(2) to restrain separation frequently occurring on the bead filler(5).
