DISCHARGE VALVE ASSEMBLY FOR TRIGGER OPERATED PUMP TYPE SPRAYER

PURPOSE: A discharge valve assembly for trigger operated pump type sprayer is provided which prevents a liquid product from dripping to a discharge orifice after the closing of a discharge valve and facilitates the priming of a pump. CONSTITUTION: The trigger operated pump type sprayer has the discharge valve assembly(54) arranged to the discharge barrel of a pump main body(21) improved in the process and priming water ratio of its pump excluding the air in the discharge valve(41) by the packed material for reducing the volume of the barrel and required during initial suction and discharge for discharging a pressurized liquid product along the barrel or through the orifice(44) of a nozzle(42). The discharge valve assembly can be moved along the length of the discharge barrel corresponding to a pressure process and a return process during suction and discharge and the downstream end of the assembly is engaged with a rotary mechanism member(48) at the end of the nozzle to determine the variable volume suction chamber communicating with the discharge orifice and the liquid product is drawn during a pump suction process.
