PURPOSE: To suppress the temperature rise of circulating air by forming a partition wall to separate the circulation passage circulating at least part of exhaust of an electric blower from the cleaner main body with a material of high heat conductivity. CONSTITUTION: This vacuum cleaner is constituted of an upper case 2, lower case 3, dust collecting lid 4 and partition wall 7 to be mounted on the lower case 3. A hose connection port 5 to connect a hose connection part 17 of the main body side hose is formed in the front side of the cleaner main body 1. An exhaust port is formed on the rear wheel. A partition wall 7 formed of a material with comparatively high heat conductivity is mounted at a distance from the backside of the lower case 3. The partition wall 7 is made to constitute part of the outer wall of the cleaner main body 1. An exhaust passage B1 communicating with the hose connection port 5 is formed in between the back side of the lower case 3 and the partition wall 7 formed of polypropylene. If the heat conductivity of the partition wall 7 is higher than or equal to polypropylene, temperature rise of air to pass the hose connection part 17 side can be suppressed below 20 deg.C .
