PURPOSE: An apparatus for endowing a binding function to a laminator having a coating function is provided to simultaneously perform coating work and binding work by using the waste heat discharged from a vent hole of the laminator. CONSTITUTION: In a laminator(R) having an upper plate(6) formed with a vent hole(6a) over a heating roll installed in a case(1), the apparatus for endowing the binding function to the laminator has a body part(10) comprising a bottom plate(11), a transverse side plate(12), and a fitting plate(13) formed by folding the both sides of the bottom plate. A support plate(14) is detachably coupled to the side plate to maintain a specific space between the side plates. A binding object is inserted into a binding groove(15) formed between the side plates while the fitting plate is fitted in the vent hole of the laminator. The binding object is bound by receiving the heat from the heating roll of the laminator. A heat supply hole(16) is formed on the bottom plate so that it is coincide with the vent hole of the upper plate of the laminator. Under the bottom plate, a heat collection plate(17) is formed at regular distances for collecting the heat generated in the heating roll of the laminator.
