PURPOSE: An upper limit point detecting limit switch operating device has a bearing type switch operating piece accurately operating a lever of a glass upper limit point detecting limit switch even when frictional force is generated between a glass and a door chassis or between a rail and a carrier plate or the glass and the carrier plates rotate as an object is held in one side between the glass and the door chassis to secure safety. CONSTITUTION: A rail(4) is a square pipe and has a guide hole(41) on the central line on the front surface thereof. A glass upper limit point detecting limit switch(3) is a push switch and installed on the upper end of the rail(4) so that an operating lever(31) of the switch(3) faces below. A switch operating piece(6) is a bearing supported by a carrier plate(5) with an axis(61). The carrier plate(5) and the bearing(6) move vertically as a wire(2) rotates by the rotary force of a motor(1).
