PURPOSE: A method for updating a homezone list is provided to update homezone regions each subscriber. Therefore, it is possible to correctly maintain subscriber homezone information. CONSTITUTION: An LD-SPC(Location Determination and Service Providing Center) loads cell plan data and field measuring data(a). The LD-SPC checks whether a zone database construction is completed(b). If so, the LD-SPC checks whether a subscriber exists in a subscriber homezone database(c). If so, the LD-SPC fetches a subscriber number, latitude/longitude and a homezone list of a specific subscriber from the homezone database(d). The LD-SPC refers to the zone database, and newly calculates a homezone list for the latitude/longitude of the patched subscriber(e). The LD-SPC decides whether the newly-generated homezone list is in accord with the fetched homezone list(f). If not, the subscriber homezone database updates the homezone list of the corresponding subscriber as the newly-generated homezone list(g). If a homezone list updating is completed(h), the LD-SPC supplies the updated homezone list to a corresponding HLR(Home Location Registration)(i).
