<p>The invention relates to a ventilating device for a ridge coping, preferably for a top ridge of a roof. The ventilating device comprises a ridge member consisting of two opposed panels between which cross pieces are established. Passages for humid air from a roof construction to the ambient atmosphere is established either between the cross pieces or in the cross pieces. The passages pass from a lower part of the ridge member to an upmost part of the ridge member. Preferably, the ventilating device is provided with flexible parts extending from the lower part of the ridge member and downwards and outwards. The flexible parts are intended for abutting an underroof. Different types of mounting means for mounting of ridge tiles to the ventilating device is also comprised. The ventilating device according to the invention makes ventilation of roof constructions through a ridge coping much easier and much more flexible.</p> |
