The invention relates to a device for internally inspecting compressed gas cylinders. The invention is characterised by a fixing device (2) containing at least one CCD camera (3, 6) and at least one illuminating device (4, 7). The device comprises one or more illuminating devices (4, 7) which illuminate the object to be inspected obliquely or laterally and are situated in particular in a tubular sleeve which acts as a fixing device (2) and one or more CCD cameras (3, 6). The device allows a method to be carried out, according to which the images taken using the CCD camera(s) (3, 6) are transmitted to a data processing device for evaluation. |
