<p>A control system that is provided on a radiation detector causes a motor (7) to cause a pin (9) to slide, this in turn causing a mobile section (12) of an absorbent covering (2) to pivot in order to open or close a collimation slit (3) and adjust the amount of radiation received by the detection solid (1) to a value which is ideal for the precision of the measurements.
